Quirky Dog Home Boarding

Quirky Dog Home Boarding agrees to provide its services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner

On booking overnight (ten nights or more) a deposit, paid via bacs, will be required. With the balance due 10 weeks before the start of boarding. If an overnight booking is made less than 10 weeks before the start date of boarding, the full amount is due at the time of booking. Drop off time for overnight boarding is 5pm. Collection time for overnight boarding is 09:30am. There is flexibility with times and will be charged accordingly

Day boarding, full payment will be required on booking(unless discussed and an agreed, documented arrangement made) Short (less than ten nights)overnight boarding, full payment will be required on booking. There will be an extra charge for late collection of your dog(s)

Cancellations, for whatever reason (including medical and weather related) no refund of the deposit is due. Cancellations within the 10 weeks of boarding date, no refund of the full balance is due

Dogs will be walked on lead until Quirky Dog Home Boarding is confident that your dog responds well to the ‘recall’ command and only on signed consent in this agreement

If you have given permission for your dog to be walked off lead that you will not hold Quirky Dog Home Boarding liable for damage, loss or injury if your dog runs away

You are solely responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by your dog while they are under the care of Quirky Dog Home Boarding, and agree to indemnify Quirky Dog Home Boarding in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties

Quirky Dog Home Boarding reserves the right to refuse care of your dog if you are unable to provide adequate proof of vaccinations against canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus, or the vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete. This ensures the health of our own, current and future pet visitors

You agree to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that your dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise, communicable diseases. You further agree to notify Quirky Dog Home Boarding immediately of any infections and/or contagious disease or conditions that your dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Quirky Dog Home Boarding reserves the right to refuse care of any dog until satisfied that the condition is resolved. You agree that either you or your emergency contact, collect your dog(s) should your dog become sick, injured or potentially infectious. If an infectious disease is present on the whole premises, collection from our vet will be required.

You agree to notify Quirky Dog Home Boarding immediately if your dog has any aggressive, or dangerous behaviour that has potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual

You agree that, in admitting your dog for our care, Quirky Dog Home Boarding has relied on your representation that your dog is in good health, and that your dog has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog

All pets will be subject to an initial assessment during the free meet and greet by Quirky Dog Home Boarding prior to using our services. Only dogs from the same household are boarded overnight at any one time, alongside the household dog. An overnight trial stay is required for all stays longer than three nights, there must be a familiarisation session of either a half day or whole day before they home board. Quirky Dog Home Boarding reserves the right to refuse care on any pet deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be dangerous

You are responsible for the full cost of treatment for any injuries or illness that your dog receives while under the care of Quirky Dog Home Boarding together with any associated costs eg. call-out charges. You authorise Quirky Dog Home Boarding to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as deemed necessary, where possible this will be carried out by your usual, preferred vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (eg in an emergency) and you accept the Quirky Dog Home Boarding may at their discretion use any registered vet.

You agree to pay all such costs immediately upon collection of your dog, or by agreement of Quirky Dog Home Boarding

The collar lead or harness is secure and fit for purpose, when outside the premises, your dog(s) will wear an identity tag with our name and contact details.

You agree that Quirky Dog Home Boarding is not responsible for any damage caused by your dog escaping because of a faulty lead, collar or harness, or equipment that is not properly fitting

Quirky Dog Home Boarding is insured in accordance with the terms of its insurance policy with Pet Business Insurance Ltd. It will not accept liability for injury to, loss or death of your dog

You agree to ensure your dog has not eaten in the hour before drop off, to ensure sufficient time to digest their food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric torsion)

You agree to reimburse Quirky Dog Home Hoarding for any additional fees charged at a similar rate as for the service or such other rate as is reasonable for providing emergency care

In the event of extreme weather which may have an adverse effect on your dog eg. heat or thunderstorms, Quirky Dog Home Boarding, at its discretion, shall take whatever action it considers necessary, including not carrying out scheduled exercise until it is, in its opinion, safe to do so

Under regulations of the home boarding licencing, Quirky Dog Home Boarding will retain the information collected from the terms and conditions and registration forms in a safe and secure manner for the duration required by the licencing authority, to have available for their inspection. Once time period has expired all information will be destroyed, at no point will your information be given/sold to a third party. You will not receive any marketing materials via Quirky Dog Home Boarding. Any contact numbers held on mobile will be removed once our service(s) are no longer required
